Terms of Service

By using CheckMyCV or any other tool on FreeNexGenTools.co.uk ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

FreeNexGenTools.co.uk provides free online tools for UK job seekers, including CheckMyCV, an ATS compatibility scanner. The Service is provided free of charge and "as is", without any guarantee of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Submit automated or bulk requests to the API.
• Upload files containing malware, exploits, or harmful content.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the Service or its outputs at scale.
• Use the Service to process third-party CVs without that person's consent.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, code, branding, and design on FreeNexGenTools.co.uk is owned by Vesaw Infotech unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

The ATS report generated for your CV is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your own report, but you may not resell or redistribute reports generated for others.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of your CV and any content you upload. By submitting your CV, you grant us a transient, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to produce your ATS report. This licence ends the moment your report is returned and your file is deleted from our servers (see our Privacy & Cookie Policy).

You warrant that you are the owner of the CV you upload, or have the right to submit it for processing.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and its outputs are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that following the report's recommendations will result in your CV passing any specific ATS system, or that you will receive interviews or job offers. ATS software varies widely between employers.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeNexGenTools.co.uk and Vesaw Infotech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of employment opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed £0, as the Service is provided free of charge.

7. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

Free daily scan limits apply to protect the service. If you exceed the limit, please try again the following day.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses Google Cloud (for hosting) and Google Vertex AI (for AI-powered report generation). Your CV content is transmitted to Google's Vertex AI API solely to produce your report and is not retained by Google under our API agreement. Use of these services is subject to Google's own terms.

If Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA is enabled, it is subject to Cloudflare's terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
